I think it’s safe for Emme, Katie, and I all to say that it was TOTALLY worth shooting in the freezing cold. These two are stunning, and I loved spending my Saturday evening with them. Both of them were open to all of my ideas, which I really appreciated. Some of the ideas I offer to my clients may be hard to envision or sound a little weird at first, but THOSE images, 9 times out of 10, end up being some of my and their favorites.
Emme is not exactly sure where she’s going next year (possibly VT, and then Georgia Tech the following year), but loves science and is planning to study engineering. Katie will be attending the Honors Program at GMU this fall, and is thinking about majoring in english or studying creative writing. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for these two awesome girls.
The ground was a little muddy from the snow, but both Emme and Katie were totally willing to go along with my ideas, and I’m so glad they did because some of these are my FAVORITES from the entire shoot!
I LOVE how Katie incorporated her GMU sweatshirt into her senior shoot, as it made her senior pictures even more personal!
Thank you so much Angelika for being super nice and compatible and to top it off you are an amazing photographer.
AH Emme! I had so much fun photographing you and Katie! Thank YOU for trusting me to capture your seniors 🙂
Dear Angelika:
A belated thank you for these beautiful shots of our daughter. You captured the **real** Emme in the outdoors of the state she loves, Virginia. We are very grateful you share your gift, and are thinking we need to book you sometime in the Fall when you are home to shoot our family Christmas photo!!
I see a bright future full of gallery openings with The Angelika Johns’ stamp 🙂
Warmly,
Capi
