I had so much fun with Richard and Grace during their engagement session! These two were always laughing and joking around, and trusted my judgement all the way through. Couldn’t cherish any two qualities more.
These two cuties swam for their high schools and met when a friend introduced them during a swim meet. Grace mentioned that she never thought she would see Richard again, but nevertheless, he kept showing up in her life! After meeting through swimming, Richard kept showing up at the church and youth group Grace attended, and from there they became really good friends. Richard asked Grace to be his girlfriend a week before they left for college, and after four years of long distance and graduation, they moved to Richmond together.
Since these two love all things water related – swimming, water skiing, sailing, scuba diving – Richard proposed using their mutual love of water. While they were on the lake at Richard’s family lake house, he pulled out the ring while they were double skiing at sunset!! For these reasons, they really wanted to incorporate water in their engagement session. For their session, we began at Maymont Park in Richmond, VA so we could get those beautiful fall leaves, and ended right on the water at Belle Isle! There was a gorgeous sunset at the end that made for the perfect evening. After only spending a few hours with Grace and Richard, I know their wedding will be full of so much good energy, laughs, and love. Counting down the days!
