I was so excited to shoot Kaitlyn’s senior session this past weekend as we have been planning her shoot for months! When I asked Kaitlyn what time she had gone to bed the night before our sunrise session, she omitted to give me a time and instead said that she couldn’t sleep out of pure excitement. Working with people who are just as excited to be shooting as I am always warms my heart. We lucked out with a beautiful day as we weaved our way through the dock and different neighborhoods in Old Town, Alexandria. It was a bit windy, but I always love that extra touch of movement wind adds to any portrait.
