When Lindsay first emailed me, I didn’t initially realize who she was since I hadn’t seen her and her family in YEARS. I didn’t even fully realize my connection to her until the very beginning of the wedding!
When I was little (I’m talking YOUNG – like 2+ years old) I would go over to my long time childhood friend Anna’s house at least once a week throughout preschool, kindergarten, elementary, and middle school. Over the years, her and her family became like a second family to me. Every so often her neighbors would come over and we would all play together. As a result, I got to see her neighbors a few times every year. When Lindsay emailed me, she specified that she was neighbors with this family I had known since I was a baby, but I didn’t fully put together that she was talking about the same neighbors I had gotten to know growing up. When I arrived to her wedding and saw Lindsay’s mom, dad, and brothers I was STUNNED! There were lots of hugs and excitement seeing them and reconnecting after such a long time. My close family friends were even there, which was so comforting and exciting to me because it was like having my second parents watching me work in a professional setting.
Chris and Lindsay’s wedding at Potomac Point Winery was such an emotional and joyful day. I couldn’t imagine spending that Saturday in any better way. Lindsay and Chris – thank you for having me. It was such an honor to photograph such a momentous stage in your life.
This RING!
These two flower girls were precious.
Look how excited these bridesmaids were :,)
Lindsay’s maid of honor was tearing up ALL day, and it was so moving to watch.
When these two flower girls got to the end of the aisle, they blatantly dumped the rest of their petals out of their basket and it got everyone laughing. So cute.
Their reaction to seeing their best friend walk down the aisle was so moving!
We had a little intruder in the middle of bridal party photos for a bit! But we didn’t one bit 🙂
Grape stomping!
Lindsay’s maid of honor was adorable and we caught her peeping at us during bride and groom portrait time.
A quiet, sweet moment between Lindsay’s parents at the reception.
Angelika! Wow! You did an amazing job girl. They look great and you captured the day flawlessly.
