Katie and Zach had their summer wedding at Rock Hill Plantation House in Stafford, Virginia and it was a beautiful day! I absolutely love these two – they were always so kind and goofy together and whenever we were shooting we had a blast. Also – I have NEVER seen so many tears at a wedding…ever!! One of my favorite moments from the wedding was watching Zach absolutely LOSE IT when he saw Katie walking down the aisle. Keep scrolling and see for yourself!

Zach had the best reaction when he saw Katie! He couldn’t stop crying and wiping away the tears from his face. One of my favorite moments from the day for sure.

Photobooth! Guests of all ages always love these!

Another one of my favorite moments is when this little guy came to the center of the room right while toasts were ending and asked for the Mic – completely unplanned. He proceeded to give his own toast and it was adorable, and had everyone laughing!

Right before Katie and her dad were about to start their father daughter dance, he ran up and tried to steal Katie away for the dance instead!

The shoe game!! One of my favorite wedding day reception games. It allows the guests to get to know the couple better and gives everyone a good laugh. Before the game begins, the bride and groom give each other one of their shoes. Someone close to the couple prepares a list of funny questions about the couple beforehand and reads it off – questions like “who is cleaner?”, “who spends more money?”, or “who wakes up earlier?” Without seeing the other person’s answer, each person holds up the shoe of the person that fits for each answer.
