I had been counting down the DAYS for Heidi and Micah’s wedding. These two have been some of the sweetest people I’ve had the opportunity to work with, so I knew their summer wedding at Crosskeys Vineyard was going to chalk-full of joy, love, and emotions. They also have such a sweet proposal story, so if you’re a sucker for love stories like I am and haven’t read theirs yet, you can check it out in their engagement session blog post here.
Heidi and Micah’s June wedding was beautiful on so many levels. Everything from the rose gold and blush colors, to the getting ready details, to the flowers were all so well put together. Everyone surrounding Heidi and Micah exuded an overflow of energy, excitement, and happiness that you could feel the joy a mile away. If I had to pick a favorite part of the day though, it would probably be watching Micah as Heidi walked towards him down the aisle. As soon he saw her, tears began trickling down his face. Micah’s reaction during their first look was already so heartfelt, but seeing the love of your life walking down the aisle makes reality and emotions sink in like nothing else.
Congratulations Heidi and Micah! It was an honor to capture such an important day for you two.

Made of honor with tears in her eyes after seeing her best friend.
Heidi and her father decided to do a father/daughter first look, and it was so sweet to watch.
Right after, Heidi and Micah did their First Look and I couldn’t stop smiling the entire time!
We had an awestruck crowd of bridesmaids and moms wiping their eyes through the windows.
Micah watching Heidi dance with her father.
At sunset, we stepped out for some beautiful bride and groom portraits!
Just LOOK at our last location!!
After their exit, Heidi and Micah surprised their bridal party by heading over to JMU’s Quad for a few more last photos!
These pictures are absolutely beautiful! Micah and Heidi will enjoy these for a lifetime.
