I had been counting down the DAYS until Sara’s shoot ever since she reached out to me about her seniors! I mean, what can be better than photographing one of the sweetest, most talented, and beautiful girls out there? Not only did I have the chance to photograph her once, but now two times?!?! I was pretty psyched.
I get so happy when seniors tell me that they want to include a personal aspect/interest into their session, so when Sara told me she wanted to do dance photos, and in some way incorporate her affinity for cats, I knew that our shoot was going to be a good one (seriously make sure you keep scrolling to see these at the end of this post)! Even though Sara wasn’t able to go full-out with her dance moves since she recently got into a bike accident, she still looked amazing. I absolutely loved spending time with this girl, and wish her the best as she heads off to BYU this fall!
One perk of doing a sunrise shoot in DC is NO CROWDS!! If we had done this shoot in the evening, we could not have gotten these shots below at all – too many people!!
As you can see, Sara LOVES cats. We were both laughing the entire time while taking these photos – probably a highlight of our entire session on both ends. Seniors that can have fun like this and make their shoot more personal are the BEST.
Sara slayyyeeed these dance photos despite her injuries! Because of the whiplash from her accident, she couldn’t do any moves that threw her spine or neck back, which limited some of the things she wanted to do. However, everything she did was still so stunning!!!
