Whenever my couples start stressing about the upcoming week’s weather to me, I always advise not to worry because most of the time Virginia weather does a 180 flip. This wedding is proof of that! Leading up to Saturday, the weather called for 100% chance of rain and thunderstorms. I remember checking Friday night to see if anything had changed, and it still called for 100% storms all day. When Saturday morning came around, there was not one cloud in the sky, and that’s how the rest of the day went! It may have been hot and humid, but thankfully the rain held out until Sunday.
Grace and Richard’s wedding at Ashton Creek Vineyard in Chester, VA was a big celebration for so many reasons. They started dating a week before college and did long distance for four years before moving to Richmond together. For me and everyone at the wedding that day, witnessing them tie the knot after doing long distance for four years was heartwarming. The day was filled with so many tears, smiles, laughs, and lots of dancing at the end!
Congrats Grace and Richard! It was an honor to capture your day.
I love how Grace and Richard incorporated bubbles into their ceremony! It looked so good!
