I was so honored to capture these girls’ seniors portraits! Both go to my school, Maraena being a rising senior and Zoe being a senior planning to attend UNC Greensboro Beyond Academics this fall! Maraena is the president of the Best Buddies Club at our school, an awesome international organization that strives to create opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The club is one of the most successful at our school, and a large number of high school students are actively involved. Zoe is one of the most spirited students at our school and regularly attends our high school sports games to support our peers! She was also voted Homecoming Queen and was on our Prom Court this year! I had so much fun photographing both of these girls during their two-hour senior session – here are some images from the shoot!
